We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with a focus on developing the skills of gymnastics in a fun environment, within a primary school setting (Key Stage 1) with a wide variety of abilities. This role involves creating a positive and encouraging environment where the children can thrive, learn new techniques, and build confidence in their gymnastics abilities.
Duties
Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to the needs of individual children and groups.
Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, techniques, and routines while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Monitor the progress of children, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their performance.
Foster a supportive team atmosphere that encourages camaraderie and personal growth among children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members regarding progress, and any concerns.
Skills
Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines.
Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to adapt coaching methods to suit different learning styles.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with young (Key Stage 1) children of varying skill levels.
A deep understanding of gymnastics techniques, safety practices, and injury prevention.
Ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their personal best while fostering teamwork.
