. This role gives children the opportunity to develop balance, coordination, strength, and confidence while enjoying fun, structured gymnastics activities in a safe and supportive environment.
The club runs
Wednesdays, 3:20pm - 4:15pm (55 minutes per week).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise small groups of primary-aged children in age-appropriate gymnastics activities.
Plan and deliver structured sessions that build physical skills, flexibility, teamwork, and confidence.
Encourage enthusiasm, participation, and enjoyment in movement and physical activity.
Communicate effectively with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's progress.
Ensure all equipment and activity spaces are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience coaching gymnastics or leading physical activity sessions for children in schools, clubs, or sports settings.
Ability to inspire and engage children in a fun, structured, and safe learning environment.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
A background in gymnastics, sports coaching, or physical education is desirable.
