Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our squad coaching team. Previous experience or a strong gymnastics knowledge is essential for this role.
Duties
Design and implement training programmes tailored to the skill levels of individual gymnasts. Conduct gymnastics classes for various age groups, ensuring safety and proper technique. Provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their performance and confidence. Communicate effectively with athletes and other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive training experience. Monitor the progress of gymnasts and report or alter where necessary. Stay on task for gymnasts expected progress trajectory.
Requirements
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably in gymnastics or related disciplines. Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and young adults. Ability to motivate and inspire athletes while fostering a positive team spirit. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning training sessions. A valid first aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
