Nottingham City Gymnastics is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a

Supervising Coach

on a

full-time, 12-month maternity cover contract

. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced coach to work in a supportive and energetic environment, nurturing the development of gymnasts of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise

a team of coaches, ensuring safe and effective training environments for all gymnasts. Provide

high-quality coaching

across a range of gymnastics ages and abilities.

Develop and implement

session plans tailored to the needs and abilities of gymnasts. Oversee and manage

daily training sessions

, ensuring that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed.

Mentor and support

junior coaches, fostering a positive team environment and professional development. Actively contribute to the

progression and development

of the gymnastics program at Nottingham City Gymnastics. Liaise with parents, gymnasts, and the wider community to maintain strong relationships and ensure a high level of service and support.

Required Skills and Experience:

A

Level 2/3

coaching qualification in gymnastics (or equivalent) is essential. Significant experience in

coaching gymnastics

, ideally in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to

motivate and manage a team

of coaches. A genuine passion for

developing young gymnasts

and helping them reach their full potential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to

engage with gymnasts, parents, and colleagues

.

First aid

and safeguarding certification (or a willingness to obtain it).
