Our organisation is seeking a talented and goal-oriented Artistic Gymnastics Coach. This position is responsible for coaching young gymnasts through the various stages of their development across all apparatus, pairing with the team manager to track the progress of each athlete, and ensuring that all safety & safrguarding precautions are followed when training. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a professional demeanour in front of the team and be available for questions at all times.
10 hours are spread across evening and weekend work. This position can be split up or done by one candidate. We run all year through and coaches are on a self employed basis.
Coaching Hours are as follows.
Thursday 4pm to 7pm / Friday 4pm to 7pm & Saturday 9am to 1pm
Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct 60 minute gymnastic practice sessions.
Attendance recording and basic tasks using our management software
Control and safely manage groups of up to 9 children
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 1 British Gymnastics Or Independent Gymnastics qualification would be preferable, but not compulsory as training can be provided.
- Digital DBS Check would need to be carried out for any successful applicant.
