Gymnastics Coach (Senior School & Girls' Prep)

Hours:

33.5 hours per week, 36 weeks of the year (term-time)

Monday: 10:30am - 5:45pm (6 hrs 45 mins, plus 30-min unpaid lunchbreak) Tuesday: 8:15am - 5:45pm (9 hrs, plus 30-min unpaid lunchbreak) Wednesday: 1:30pm - 5:45pm (4 hrs 15 mins, no lunchbreak) Thursday: 10:30am - 5:45pm (6 hrs 45 mins, plus 30-min unpaid lunchbreak) Friday: 10:30am - 5:45pm (6 hrs 45 mins, plus 30-min unpaid lunchbreak)


The role involves working at the Senior School from 1:30 - 5:45 daily, and the mornings would be based at the Girls' Preparatory School.

The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, with the possibility of working weekends for additional remuneration if required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic Gymnastics Department. This is an exciting opportunity to coach pupils aged 4-18 across our Girls' Preparatory and Senior Schools, helping them develop confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of gymnastics.

What you'll do



Coach and motivate pupils of all abilities - from enthusiastic beginners to advanced performers.
+ Deliver engaging sessions across both Prep and Senior Schools, including lunchtime clubs, games afternoons, and co-curricular activities.
+ Plan and lead pre-squad and advanced programmes, supporting progression into Senior School squads.
+ Prepare gymnasts for competitions and showcases, offering guidance and encouragement throughout.
+ Ensure a safe and supportive training environment, following safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
+ Assist with the day-to-day organisation of the Gymnastics Programme and ensure equipment remains in top condition.

What we're looking for



Essential:

British Gymnastics Level 2 qualification (or working towards). Proven experience coaching young people in gymnastics.

Desirable:

Evidence of further professional development in gymnastics or sports coaching. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and teamwork.

You'll need creativity, flexibility, and a passion for helping pupils reach their potential.
