Summary

We are seeking a passionate Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Positive Impact Sports. In this role, you will lead gymnastics sessions designed to educate and inspire young athletes, fostering their skills while promoting a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive gymnastics sessions for children aged 5-11. Lead after-school clubs in primary schools (typically 3:00-4:30pm). Deliver community-based gymnastics sessions in line with Positive Impact Sports' values. Create a positive, supportive environment that fosters enjoyment and physical literacy. Manage group behaviour effectively, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Liaise with schools, parents, and community organisations where appropriate. Complete attendance records and basic monitoring/evaluation tasks. Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum Level 1 British Gymnastics coaching qualification (or equivalent) - Level 2 preferred. Experience working with children or young people in schools, clubs, or community settings. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Commitment to inclusive practice and child welfare. Ability to work independently and professionally.

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines. Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate young athletes. Ability to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants. Passion for promoting health and well-being through sports activities.

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour
