Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing gymnasts of various ages and skill levels, fostering a safe and motivating environment that encourages skill development and confidence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes and contribute to their physical growth and enjoyment of the sport.

Class is Wednesdays 3-4.30pm

Duties

Deliver structured gymnastics coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and ability levels Plan and implement training programmes that promote skill progression and safety Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastic movements and routines Monitor participants' progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement Ensure all equipment is maintained, safe, and correctly set up before each session Promote a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and enjoyment Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns Assist in organising competitions, exhibitions, or special events as required

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety procedures, and training methods Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages Organised with the ability to plan effective coaching sessions and track progress First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary Passionate about sports education with a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for learners
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
