We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, customer service, and salon management. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while maintaining a clean and welcoming salon environment.

Responsibilities

Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. Apply hair extensions and perform hair threading as requested by clients. Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts. Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients and answering phone inquiries. Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and customer service. Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance client satisfaction. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.

Skills

Proficient in hair styling techniques with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Experience with salon management practices and retail math for sales tracking. Knowledge of cosmetology principles and barbering techniques. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly MINDBODY, is preferred.
