About Us

We are a manufacturer of high-quality composite products, specialising in GRP and advanced fibre-reinforced materials. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our production team with a Hand Lay-Up Composite Laminator.

The Role

As a Hand Lay-Up Laminator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality composite components to specification. You will work as part of a skilled team to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Hand lay-up of GRP and composite laminates Preparing moulds, materials, and work areas Cutting, measuring, and applying reinforcements and resin systems Trimming, finishing, and de-moulding components Ensuring products meet strict quality standards Following work instructions, technical drawings, and production schedules Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Understanding of health & safety procedures Ability to travel to work

Desirable:

Experience with gelcoating, vacuum bagging, or finishing Knowledge of marine, automotive, or industrial composite manufacturing Previous experience in hand lay-up GRP/composite laminating Ability to read and follow technical drawings Good understanding of resin systems and reinforcement materials
