Hand Made Lighting Assistant / Trainee
Job Description
We have been designing & making high end lighting products for world-wide interior design projects for over 15 years. Due to current high workload we are looking for a Lighting Assembler/Production Assistant to join our small friendly team in Bentworth, Hampshire.
The successful applicant will be working with an experienced maker and assisting with the hand preparation, assembly and finishing of our products. This will include using hand tools and preparation of electrical components. Experience is not essential as training is provided.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a can do attitude, perhaps with an appreciation of design or making things to join in at entry level to a successful Hampshire based Design and Manufacturing company.
We are looking for somebody to start as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will learn how to :
Hand finish and prepare high end bespoke products. Assemble glass, bronze, hardwood & LED components QC and PAT test your work Packaging for export
Must have:
Your own transport Good timekeeping Good social & communication skills The role does involve occasional heavy lifting (20-25kg)
Benefits:
