Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks around residential and properties. This role requires a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Corgi and NIC certifications are not required for this role. Immediate start.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and plastering and painting tasks. Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues that require attention. Respond promptly to service requests from clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with the installation of fixtures and fittings as required. Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete larger projects efficiently. Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used for each job.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role or relevant maintenance person experience. Strong knowledge of building maintenance practices and repair techniques. Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and carpentry skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively. Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Requirements

Must have a valid UK driving licence. Live locally. Own transport and tools required. Fluent spoken English.
