Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating the ability to tackle various tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that properties are well-maintained and all repairs are carried out to a high standard. The Handy Man will be responsible for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs, contributing to the overall upkeep of residential or commercial properties.

Duties

Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues needing attention. Respond promptly to repair requests from clients or management. Install fixtures, fittings, and appliances as required. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks. Document completed work and report any further issues to management. Assist with other maintenance projects as needed.

Skills

Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential.
