We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and that repairs are completed efficiently.

Duties

Conduct general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. Install fixtures such as shelves, cabinets, and appliances. Perform routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and building systems. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
