We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks in a commercial settings. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and other structures. Conduct plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures. Carry out electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches. Assemble furniture and equipment as required. Paint walls, doors, and other surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management. Maintain an organised inventory of tools and supplies necessary for repairs. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations. Gardening and grounds

Requirements

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact with team members effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites. Flexibility to work outside of regular hours if needed.

Pay: 13.94-15.08 per hour
