Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently, providing high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients and ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met. Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed for larger projects or specialised repairs. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and expectations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in general maintenance or maintenance person services is preferred. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and other relevant skills. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide practical solutions. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills to interact with clients professionally. A valid driver's licence is an advantage for transportation between job sites. Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour
