We provide maintenance services to commercial & residential customers

We specialise in renovation works on properties in

Luton & occasionally London

. The majority of work will require the operative to get to & from the site themselves. If you are a young person just entering the field we can find a position for you. We teach how to use software like Autodesk fusion or for the more ambitious Revit, which can take you to on the journey to understanding construction in great detail.

The Role

Job Title: Handyman/Multi-Trader

We are looking for a reliable Handyman/Multi-Trade

r

to join our growing team on a full/part-time basis.

We expect

5 years plus (unless you are an Apprentice or Improver)

proven ability to install kitchens and bathrooms at a good standard. You must live within a reasonable commute to Luton. A vehicle driver is preferred.

What We're Looking For:

We need a

multi-trader

who can confidently:

Install complete kitchens

- all types (flat pack, rigid etc)

Install complete bathrooms

- including plumbing, tiling, basic electrics Work independently and within a team to deliver jobs. Be presentable, respectful, and capable of working in both void and occupied properties Communicate clearly with our office and project managers, including using WhatsApp to send photos and updates on jobs daily.

Notes to the: Apprentice or improverin italics.

The operative will, (if needed) be taught most trades whilst on site.

The role does require some planning, so an interest (

self taught or otherwise

) in the following will greatly assist when producing needed layouts: Revit, Fusion 360.

A natural ability to manipulate software and have a general idea of how to move around software on a whole will greatly benefit your application.

An interest in basic design, nothing difficult (cabinets of some kind) will also help

Your initial main responsibilities and duties will include, although not be limited to;

The ability to draw free hand, no perfection is needed in this area. Just have a feel of putting pen to paper when in need to describe a picture 2D or 3D

You must have the ability to, take readable notes of one's own duties, along with relaying information to other employees and sub-contractors. You will make frequent site visits to take dimensions.

Carry out maintenance then cleaning to properties and buildings we look after.

To be considered for this role you must have the following, knowledge and attributes;

Acceptable communication skills
Good level numeracy
A willingness to undertake any relevant training
Good understanding of customers' expectations regarding conduct and behaviours
Ability to establish and sustain good working relationships within a team environment.
Ability to listen and briefly explain your duties when in conversations with customers. People just want to know who is working in their home.

Preferred But Not Essential Education Goal:

Autodesk Revit, Fusion 360

Business Management Studies

Ms Office (OneNote, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Required Skills & Experience:

Kitchen and Bathroom installations

- must be highly skilled in these Carpentry (doors, fire doors, framework, mitre worktops) Plumbing (1st and 2nd fix) Tiling (walls and floors) Basic plastering and patch repairs Painting and decorating

Preferred

Additional Requirements:

A full set of tools for all the above trades is

preferred

but not essential as we hold all the needed tools. If you have transport it must be reliable Must be punctual, professional, and tidy Clear communication and good attitude is a must
