We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical abilities and hands-on experience in various maintenance tasks. This role involves performing repairs, installations, and general upkeep of facilities, ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently. The Handy Man will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive rapport with clients.

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment. Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or installations. Carry out electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilise mechanical knowledge to address mechanical failures or malfunctions. Supervise and guide junior staff or apprentices during maintenance tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring. Excellent mechanical knowledge applicable to various maintenance tasks. Experience in welding techniques and practices. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately. Proven supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction at all times. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
