We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional, providing high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Build and repair structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Work on roofing projects, including repairs and installations. Utilise power tools effectively and safely for various tasks. Fabricate components as needed for specific projects. Maintain an organised workspace and ensure tools are properly stored.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong understanding of maintenance practices. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required by the job. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and welding techniques is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
