Key activities:

  • Deliver, always, high quality hard services as specified within the Contract by applying professional technical expertise and management along with compliance against the contract thus ensuring added value, increased productivity, and cost efficiencies
  • To formulate in conjunction with Company management and the Client, suitable strategies to meet the demands of service provision and ongoing innovation / improvement and additional work / variations to enhance business and revenue growth
  • Exercise financial and commercial controls in the management of expenditure and income within agreed budgets
  • In liaison with the Procurement Department to cost effectively manage business with all suppliers to achieve best value for money and develop supply relationships
  • Implement and maintain the contract performance monitoring system, while being accountable for the monthly performance
  • Actively promote the development of professional codes of practice in line with organisational and local business needs
  • Actively lead, innovations and improvements to operational services promote the highest standards of customer care and to monitor the quality of all services provided to customers
  • Achieve a safe environment and practices for clients, staff, and others while on the site premises, ensuring compliance with
  • Company and legislative requirements, including all Health & Safety requirements and Permits to Work procedures
  • Define, set and monitor the objectives for the contract and each of the supervisory team ensuring their maximum contribution to the business.
Skills, qualifications & experience:
  • Must have previous experience in managing within an FM environment
  • Will have a Hard FM background with M&E trade qualifications
  • An understanding of profit/loss and forecasting is desirable; experience of compliance management is essential
  • IOSH or other H&S qualification
  • Sound IT skills
  • Good communicator with people at all levels
