Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Hard FM Service Manager to join our Facilities Management team working at a university accommodation block in Brighton. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day between 08:00 and 17:00.

Key Activities:

  • Reporting to the Contract Manager
  • Responsible for cost effective management of all sub-contracted planned and reactive maintenance labour across M&E and Building Fabric disciplines.
  • Responsibility for site management team, engineering team and of all sub-contracted labour resource in the delivery of Reactive maintenance request.
  • Responsible for BYES site compliance reporting systems, collation of information, management of specialist service providers, asset database, Insurance registers and scheduling of PPM
  • To effectively manage site processes and develop and implement standards.
  • To liaise with the client team as required, attending meetings and delegating as required.
  • Review existing PPM\'s and if required, devise new PPM regimes for site assets to ensure optimum operational availability and life cycle.
  • Monitor staff performance, attendance, timesheets and overtime allocation
  • To recruit, induct, motivate, lead and provide on-going training to staff
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day between 08:00 and 17:00.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must have previous experience of managing a team within an FM environment
  • Will come from a Hard FM background and have compliance management experience
  • An understanding of profit/loss and budgets is desirable
  • Will have first class customer care skills with proven ability to consistently go the extra mile
  • Experience managing sub-contractors is essential
  • Sound IT skills
  • Good communicator with people at all levels and excellent organisational skills
