About us

We are a professional landscaping company handling small garden jobs to large scale landscaping projects that we design. We also specialise in dry stone walling and stone masonry services

We are looking for someone with experience in the building trade who can be trusted to competently work from drawings to construct hard landscaping designs and has the skills to produce quality work independently but also manage other staff to complete projects efficiently.

Above average pay for the candidate which is negotiable based on experience.

Self employed or PAYE options available to suit the candidate.

Weekend work available on request.

Overview:

We are seeking a Landscape Technician with landscaping or building experience to join our team in the construction of gardens and outdoor spaces.

As a Landscape Technician, you will play a vital role in creating and preserving beautiful landscapes.

Duties & skills required:

- Working hard and being punctual the most important skill required

- Driving license essential

- Ability to lay out sites and work from plans

- laying natural stone paving and porcelain paving

- Setting out and installing concrete foundations, constructing free standing and retaining block walls

- Basic woodworking skills

- Being able to operate plant machinery useful but not essential for the role

- General building skills and knowledge for making mortar mixes

- Assist in garden construction projects to enhance outdoor environment

- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

- Experience with both hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks

- Ideally this role will be more of a hands on foremans position for the right candidate

- Experience with stonework would also be good but not essential

Pay: 14.00-18.00 per hour
