We are now seeking a Hardware Engineer who will work as part of the R&D team.

Job Specification



The position involves:

Schematic and PCB Layout Design using PC schematic and PCB tools, specifically Siemens PADs. Analogue and Digital design work Collating and processing design manufacture data. Hardware approvals including safety and EMC testing. Designing and supporting release to production including design of production test jigs, programming of devices and real time functional test of every product. Supporting our externally recognised quality standards e.g. ISO9001/ISO14001. Other similar duties as agreed with supervisor.

Person Specification



You will be a engineer with at least a 2.1 degree in Physics or Electronics related discipline. You will have reasonable experience in: Digital & Analogue Electronic Engineering, Microsoft Office, Serial Communications, and relevant computing languages such as C, C++, Python, etc. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Note we are unable to sponsor candidates who require a visa to work in the UK.

Hours:

37.5 per week

Holidays:

20 days per year (increasing by 1 day for each year served up to Maximum of 5 days, total 25 days)

Starting Salary

as per range which will depend on skills, qualifications and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,000.00-35,000.00 per year
