Harvest Temp Seed Plant Operator

Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK\'s best workplaces as measured by the Great Place to Work Institute. Based at our Holton site we are currently looking to recruit harvest workers to join our business on a full-time temporary basis through our spring season, from February to mid-March 2024, with the potential to return for 2024\'s Summer harvest.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of a small team whose responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Driving to farms following our Mobile Seed Processing Plant in a company van
- On farm you will be processing farm saved seed
- Assisting with setting up the processor
- Checking the quality of bags to be filled
- Liaising with the operator to maintain good levels of stock
- Ensuring the site/machinery is clean, tidy and Health and safety processes are always adhered to
- To establish good and safe working practices
- Always Providing a high level of service and customer care
No previous experience is required however, Agricultural, Engineering or Grain handling experience would be an advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. A full UK driving license is required for this role.
