We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team in the role of Head Baker. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Stores team focusing on our dough production and bakery. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of food production, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for quality and safety. Duties

Overseeing our dough production for our pizza and sandwiches. Overseeing production of sourdoughs and other breads. Producing a range of cakes and sweet products in the deli. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Monitoring ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low Ensuring all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients

Experience

Previous experience in food production or preparation is highly desirable Familiarity with cooking techniques and culinary practices, including baking and food safety standards Experience working in a restaurant or professional kitchen environment is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
