Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of food production and preparation in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in cooking, baking, and food safety practices. You would need to have experience with working in an established kitchen. You will play a key role in creating delicious baked treats while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food production tasks, including mixing, and baking. Ensure all food safety guidelines are adhered to during food preparation and storage. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as necessary. Participate in menu planning and development as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and baking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for baking and creating high-quality dishes that delight customers.
