Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers courteously and addressing any special requests or concerns promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar food service role is essential. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and hygiene practices is essential. Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong

time management

skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours. Good organisational skills to ensure cleanliness and stock levels are maintained throughout shifts. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction.
