Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. You must have at least five years barista experience. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and utensils to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting. A friendly and approachable demeanour with strong communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
