Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in food and beverage preparation within a dynamic cafe setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, in accordance with company standards. Handle food safety procedures diligently, ensuring all health regulations are adhered to during food preparation and service. Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide friendly assistance to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout the shift. Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, cups, and utensils. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety at all times.

Qualifications

Previous

Barista experience

regulations is advantageous. Experience in

customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable. Basic

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to perform

tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Strong

time management

skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Flexibility to work during peak hours including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required.
