We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Head Barista to join us in our Greenhouse Kitchen Restaurant at Blackdown Garden Centre, to work alongside our friendly and experienced team.

We are looking for a person:

with a passion for customer service and great coffee that takes pride in a job well executed that is able to work individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and under pressure that is attentive, pleasant, and friendly with both our customers and other team members Fully flexible with the duties and work days spanning 7 days a week Has recent Barista/Head Barista experience, in order to adopt the role quickly and smoothly With Leadership and training experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all coffee and bar training.
We take great pride in our customer service and the high quality, homemade products that we serve, so a friendly and motivated person is a must. Duties include:

Managing stock levels and wastage Training and supervising staff, leading by example Operating a till and preparing hot and cold drinks to order Clearing tables General cleaning of a restaurant, particularly the bar area.
Your daily duties will vary, as our team members are trained in all aspects of the business, allowing for flexible team work. Everybody has a part to play in a successful team. However, you will be expected to take responsibility for the service delivery of our beautiful coffee! This will involve the continuous development of the wider team, routine stock inspections and ordering, and working with the management team to ensure high standards are maintained. Further training is provided, with refresher training for those with any previous experience. The successful candidate will be expected to work 3 out of 4 weekends a month.
