Job Summary

Wild & Green Kitchen is an independent coffee shop / bar we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Head Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and team supervision while also preparing and maintaining high-quality beverages using a La Marzocco espresso machine.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Leading by example on customer service, speed, and attention to detail Overseeing cleanliness, food safety, and compliance in line with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Support the front of house team. Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied when processing payments. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed. Comfortable switching between bar, floor, and back-of-house responsibilities Organised, proactive, and able to take initiative during quiet or busy times A genuine love of coffee, food, and creating a brilliant customer experience A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being able to work independently when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista is essential; additional training will be provided in-house and in with our roasters.
