We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys their experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food safety standards are met during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and utensils to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment. Continuously learn about new products and techniques to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in specialty coffee shop Strong knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
