We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and adhere to food safety standards will ensure that our customers enjoy an exceptional experience every visit.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and serving areas. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for processing payments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations. A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
