Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Head Basketball Coach for a Junior National League team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a dedication to educating players on the fundamentals of basketball.

Must hold a Basketball England Level 2 Certificate.

Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.

Must complete or have completed a safeguarding course in the last 3 years.

##Availability

Weekday evening

Saturday/Sunday in season once a month (Game days)

## Duties
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance players' skills and performance
- Provide individual and group coaching sessions focusing on techniques, strategies, and game tactics
- Organise and supervise team practices, scrimmages, and games
- Motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential both on and off the court
- Evaluate players' progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement

- Proficient in basketball coaching techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate players
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire a team towards success
- Passion for the game of basketball and a commitment to player development

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract, Volunteer

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Experience:

Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)
