Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability without compromising quality. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the kitchen practices.

Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management. Exceptional culinary skills with a focus on food preparation techniques. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. Pay: 12.54-16.88 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
