We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our Cafe team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, a strong leader and calm and collected in a busy kitchen. You will have a heart for hospitality and a consistently high standard in your cooking.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
A genuine passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes that delight guests.
