Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive kitchen experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to food safety and quality. As Head Chef, you will oversee food production, manage kitchen operations, and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of food & hygiene excellence.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
