Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and hospitality, with proven skills in food production, preparation, and safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. Your leadership will inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Develop and design creative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimising waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary excellence and creativity in menu development. Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen is highly desirable.
