Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train new kitchen staff in food production techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the menu.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both food presentation and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff. A passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
