We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient service. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Manage food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and efficiency
Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, aligning with customer preferences and current trends
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise kitchen operations
Train staff on food safety procedures, cooking techniques, and service standards
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain organisation of kitchen equipment and workspaces for optimal safety and efficiency
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and lead by example
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen
Experience in menu development, culinary innovation, and customer service excellence
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
