Head Chef - Taste The World Hospitality | New Forest
Taste The World Hospitality is searching for an exceptional Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our New Forest restaurant and pub. We are building something special; a dining experience that blends world flavours with the finest local produce, rooted in creativity, consistency, and a true passion for hospitality.
With an ambition to achieve 2 Rosette level, we are looking for a Head Chef who not only has the skillset and experience to elevate our food offering, but also the leadership qualities to inspire and develop a talented team.
What You'll Do
Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive, high-performing culture
Develop innovative menus with our executive team, that balance global inspiration with locally sourced ingredients
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations: ordering, GP control, stock, HACCP, staffing, training and development
Uphold exceptional standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
Work closely with senior management to drive the culinary vision and maintain our rosette ambitions
Ensure the kitchen remains compliant, efficient, and operating at the highest level at all times
What We're Looking For
A Head Chef (or strong Sous Chef ready to step up) with experience in rosette-level or high-quality dining environments
A genuine passion for flavour, seasonality, sustainability, and international cuisines
Strong leadership skills: someone who can bring out the best in their brigade
Excellent understanding of kitchen management, GP, costing, and operational efficiency
A calm, supportive, solutions-focused approach -- especially during service
Someone excited by the idea of building and shaping a menu that represents Taste The World
