Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee food production processes to maintain quality and consistency in all dishes served. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, presentation, and food safety practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations. Maintain high standards of hospitality by fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the hospitality sector. Previous experience supervising staff and managing kitchen operations is essential. A background in restaurant experience is highly desirable.
