We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety practices
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations
Manage kitchen budgets, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards
Experience
Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
Extensive culinary experience with a strong focus on food production and preparation
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable
Strong cooking skills with the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary requirements
Live in accommodation available for the right candidate.
