We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and preparation, ensuring that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee food production processes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain food safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential. Excellent team management abilities with a focus on leadership and motivation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for creating exceptional dishes that delight guests.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
