We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Oversee all aspects of food production, from menu planning to ingredient sourcing, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Lead the culinary team in food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring dishes are served promptly and to specification.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Implement and uphold food safety protocols to ensure compliance with local health regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Train new kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Demonstrated experience in team management, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among kitchen staff.
In-depth understanding of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
