Head Chef

, with accommodation provided in a spacious

four-bedroom flat above the pub

. We warmly welcome applications from individuals or couples interested in working together within our vibrant pub setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences Supervise and support kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills Manage inventory and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment in line with health regulations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and a high-quality guest experience Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments to uphold our standards
Experience & Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a restaurant or gastropub setting Strong foundation in culinary techniques and food production processes Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for cooking and a desire to share knowledge and inspire others
