We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to menu specifications and dietary requirements. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen at all times. Develop new menu items and specials that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong background in culinary arts with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, with excellent supervisory skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Previous experience in menu planning and development is highly desirable. A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight customers is essential.
