Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of food production and presentation. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food waste management to optimise profitability without compromising quality. Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a focus on delivering exceptional service. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
