For our newest Nottingham location, we're looking for an experienced and adaptable Full Time Head Chef to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a vibrant, expanding team, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:



Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared and presented to company standards. Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team to maintain high performance and morale. Create and implement menus in line with company recipes, quality standards, and seasonal availability. Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation across all dishes. Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and cost control. Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Train and supervise kitchen staff in best practices, food preparation, and safety procedures. Monitor portion control, wastage, and cost management to meet budget targets. Work closely with management to plan menus, specials, and events. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:



Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for high-quality food and presentation. Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 3 Food Safety certification preferred). Strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Good understanding of stock control, menu costing, and budget management. Creative, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement. Flexible and adaptable with a hands-on approach to work.
