Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Ensure that all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Prepare and cook high quality dishes that meet our venue's standards and customer expectations.
Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation across all dishes.
Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends while considering seasonal ingredients.
Maintain effective communication with staff to promote teamwork and a positive working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
